In a move to decarbonise road transportation in India, Danish carrier Maersk launched electric vehicles with plans to cover 77 percent of postal codes. “With the unveiling of our electric vehicles today, we are now taking steps toward decarbonising this fleet that will contribute to the larger ambition of becoming net zero by 2040,” says a LinkedIn post. “Our electric-powered vehicles are ready to be deployed across Tier I cities in India in the first phase and will be focusing on an overall radius of 100km.”
